CEDAR & SNØ

Hej! My name is Elaine, and I am so glad you have come to visit our online store and design consultancy. 

My affinity for Scandinavian style started over 15 years ago in my travels through the Nordic countries. I have always loved the simplicity, functionality and natural elements that characterise Scandinavian design.

After many years in the corporate world, I became a mum to 2 wonderful girls and decided to properly explore my passion for design, starting Cedar & Snø Interiors with a little help from my wonderful husband, Tim. I look to incorporate Scandinavian design elements of beauty, functionality and a touch of nature into all my client's homes.

As a part of my design and styling work, I began curating beautiful objects that bring warmth and light and a touch of nordic nature. I started to see that there are so many talented craftspeople out there who create gorgeous handmade items, pieces that have a story and a unique texture to them.

So, in 2019, I decided to start the Cedar and Snø online store to collect a few of my favourite pieces in one place and support these amazing artists from around the world. It is important to me that products are ethically produced and so most of the items in this store are made to order for you by the artists. This means there may be slightly longer delivery times, but know you'll love the unique nature of our items, created for you. Thank you for supporting these handicrafts.
